If we can without incurring another three touchdowns, let’s catch up on third-quarter action in Auburn:

  • Auburn's opening drive ended in a 28-yard Wes Byrum field goal.
  • Tyler Wilson led a pass-happy drive into Auburn territory before launching a 38-yard touchdown pass.
  • Onterio McCalebb returned the ensuing kickoff for 100 yards. Cam Newton added a one-yard touchdown to the end of the "drive."
  • Tyler Wilson led a three-play touchdown drive with passes of 54, 2, and 24 yards.

So. AT THE MOMENT, at the end of the third quarter, Auburn leads, 37-35. We get the feeling this will change very rapidly.
