GoDaddy.com Taking Over The GMAC Bowl

GoDaddy.com, famous for their racy Super Bowl commercials, is now invading college football, which we can all agree needs just a little more sleaze: Meet the GoDaddy.com Bowl, formerly known as the GMAC Bowl -- just as prestigious, but now with a vaguely trashy name its combatants will love!

↵In honor of the new kid on the bowl block, here are some of the more peculiar bowl game names in the history of college football:

↵↵GoDaddy will certainly be an improvement on the GMAC sponsorship in that they’re both willing to sponsor it and because people know what they sell ... On the scale of sketchy bowl sponsorships, we rank this as follows.

↵1. The MagicJack.com St. Petersburg Bowl

↵2. The Poulan WeedEater Independence Bowl

↵3. The GoDaddy.com Bowl

↵4. The Bacardi Bowl (just because it was in Havana.)

↵↵I’d put the Bacardi Bowl at the top, because most of the players who suit up for the game are not even of age to partake in Bacardi. Plus, it’s a bowl game in Cuba, which tops nearly all of the current bowl locations.
