Once again, the Oregon Ducks are the Pac-10’s shining hope. But they’re less alone than usual.
College Football Rankings: Pac-10 Led By Oregon In Week 10 USA Today Poll
Oregon leads three Pac-10 teams in the USA Today coaches poll for Week 10, and is the only Pac-10 team to crack the top 10. It seems unlikely that two Pac-10 teams will appear in BCS bowls, but the Ducks might make up for that by securing a berth in the BCS Championship Game.
The Pac-10’s strength this year isn’t its depth, and that shows in the USA Today poll. The three teams that are ranked, Oregon, Stanford, and Arizona, all show up in the top 13, but no other Pac-10 school is even receiving votes. Oregon State hasn’t earned much respect from the coaches, it seems.
But, remember, Michigan’s been good enough to make multiple stays in the top 25.
