Upsetting Scores Of Interest: BCS Contenders Auburn, TCU Down Early

So far, Georgia's shredded the Auburn secondary — A.J. Green has four catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and the title deed to Demond Washington's dignity — and the often-explosive Auburn offense has been nervous rather than hitting the nitrous. One bobble led to a Georgia interception, and another wiped out a possible touchdown. It's 21-7 in Auburn after one quarter, and it looks like the Tigers might have more than they can chew in the tenacious Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, TCU got off to an even more disastrous start, going down 14-0 early against San Diego State after an Andy Dalton fumble in the end zone. The Horned Frogs have since rallied to slice that lead in half, but two of the top three BCS teams still trail. Happiest about all of this? Boise State, which already has its win this week.
