It was a shock to see San Diego State jump out to a 14-0 lead over TCU, but the Horned Frogs had a much bigger shock on the sideline. Offensive line coach Eddie Williamson had a heart attack during the first quarter of TCU’s game, according to coach Gary Patterson.

↵Patterson has also told a reporter that Williamson is in “stable” condition, which is good to hear. It is unclear whether Williamson is on the sideline or elsewhere receiving medical attention. Williamson’s heart attack isn’t the first of this college football season, either: Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio suffered one postgame after his Spartans topped Notre Dame earlier this year.
