Week 13, the last full week of regular-season play in the 2010 college football season, has already seen massive upheaval at the top of the BCS standings, and Saturday hasn’t even started yet. Friday night’s batty overtime barn-burner in Reno took a torch to BCS No. 4 Boise State’s quest for another undefeated season and a run at the crystal football, an event sure to leave TCU alone among mid-majors in the BCS top five. BCS No. 1 Oregon struggled early against a tenacious Arizona squad, but poured on the gas in the second half to pull away for a decisive win. And BCS No. 2 Auburn mounted a comeback for the ages to pull out a one-point road win in perhaps the greatest Iron Bowl ever played.
What will this do to the BCS rankings come Sunday night? The Broncos are toast, but what of the other four? Will Auburn leapfrog Oregon thanks to the Tigers’ instant-classic win, or will the Ducks’ second-half prowess impress voters more? Can TCU put on a big enough show against helpless wee New Mexico to jump anybody? And what happens if BCS No. 5 LSU lays waste to No. 12 Arkansas in even more impressive fashion? The choice is yours:
