Now here's a simple destiny with a simple path to get there. With the head-to-head advantage over Oklahoma State, the Oklahoma Sooners are headed to the Big 12 Championship Game. If they can get by Nebraska, they're in the Fiesta Bowl, easy as that.
And speaking of easy, the Sooners will have a laughable cakewalk of a time in Glendale if the Fiesta Bowl selectors have to take the Big East champion with the last pick. Be it UConn or West Virginia, Oklahoma should absolutely stampede any team from that conference. What'll be really interesting is if the Orange Bowl takes the Huskies or Mountaineers instead and the Fiesta ends up with a Stanford-Oklahoma slate. Everybody involved would win with a geographically favorable matchup for the ACC and Big East fanbases in Miami and two westerly-based teams in Arizona.
