VIDEO: Les Miles Eats Tiger Stadium Grass, Because He’s Les Miles

Today’s LSU-Alabama game included a fake punt, a fourth and one end-around, a two-point conversion, and an upset of the defending national champions. And yet the craziest thing to transpire was probably Les Miles eating ... well, something he picked up from the ground in the fourth quarter. Yes, there is video.

↵

↵Now, I’m not entirely sure if Miles is popping a chunk of grass or a piece of taffy on his tongue, but I’m honestly not sure if it matters. The guy who makes lunacy in coaching look like an art form was spotted picking up something from the grass in a football stadium and put it in his mouth. (It’s definitely grass, and a normal thing for Miles to do, according to Russell Shepard.)

↵And if Miles, the Mad Hatter, can continue to win games, LSU fans may end up devising more quirks for him to have for good luck. It’s worked so far.

↵(Video via the invaluable 30fps, which also has a still.)
