Historical tidbits: The 2005 game was played in Lafayette at Cajun Stadium thanks to damage to the Superdome during Hurricane Katrina, and was referred to as "The New Orleans Bowl At Lafayette," which we're sure went over well with locals campaigning to have the school rebranded as the University of Louisiana.
