Poinsettia Bowl, Navy Vs. San Diego State: VIDEO Of Flooded Qualcomm Stadium

Poinsettia Bowl executive director Bruce Binkowski isn’t going to let a little water scare anyone into thinking the game won’t go off on time. Just like the mayor of Amity, Binkowski remains unconcerned about the water-y issue plaguing Qualcomm Stadium right now as the playing field is flooded.

“We’re going to be working all night,” Binkowski said as darkness fell on San Diego Wednesday and San Diegans began to relay stories about rainbows instead of unceasing rain.

“Stadium grounds crews will be doing everything in their power to get the field in the best shape possible,” Binkowski said. “We’re going to play.”

Here’s some video of the water as it overtakes the parking lot:

The parking lot is set to open at 11 a.m. Thursday. Let’s see how that goes.
