Poinsettia Bowl Draft Prospects: San Diego State WR Vincent Brown Puts Skills On Display

San Diego State senior wide receiver Vincent Brown will look to demonstrate his skills for NFL scouts Thursday night against Navy in the SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl. Brown was selected first team All Mountain West this year and had a strong senior season with 61 catches for 1,187 yards and nine touchdowns. Brown is currently projected to be taken in the fourth round as the 94th overall pick, and tenth wide receiver taken overall, but his abilities as a return man and a strong showing at the combine may lift his draft stock.

His 2009 season was ended prematurely due to injury but it did see him have a break out game against UCLA in which he had 139 yards receiving and 66 yards on returns. Brown is likely the only player to be drafted from either team playing in tonight’s Poinsettia Bowl.

The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl kicks off at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN.
