Poinsettia Bowl, San Diego State Vs. Navy: Aztecs 35, Midshipmen 14 (FINAL)

When last we saw our gridiron heroes, the Aztecs of San Diego State were driving deep into Navy territory at the end of the third quarter of the 2010 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. On the first play of the fourth quarter, they hit paydirt, as Ryan Lindley hits Ronnie Hillman out to the right for a 15-yard gain. The score: SDSU 28, Navy 14.

The Midshipmen convert their first set of downs, but not the second, and the Aztecs' scoring machine retakes the field. Clock management becomes the focus at this point, with Ryan Lindley passing only twice in a drive that takes over six minutes off the clock and culminates in a two-yard rush from Hillman for what will be the evening's final score.

Ricky Dobbs, one of the most delightful players in all of college football, is playing hurt and ends his 2010 campaign with an interception with just over four minutes remaining. On the sideline, Brady Hoke takes one of the most unflattering Gatorade baths you'll ever see on television. Final score from a waterlogged Qualcomm Stadium: San Diego State 35, Navy 14.
