The line: Oklahoma St. Cowboys over Arizona Wildcats by -4 to -6, depending on where you look.
Alamo Bowl, Oklahoma State Vs. Arizona Line And Pick: Nick Foles Can Upset The Cowboys
Notable Arizona units: The passing game has been straight fire, with the assault led by QB Nick Foles ranking ninth in the nation. Primary targets Juron Criner, David Roberts, and David Douglas highlight a widely distributed attack.
Notable Oklahoma State units: That secondary. You’d think I’d go with Okie State’s passing game, which has been even hotter than Arizona’s, but here’s the thing: the Wildcats actually have a sorta-decent pass defense, while the Cowboys have given up more yards through the air than all but one BCS-conference team. Sure, they play in the wide-open Big 12, but it’s not like the Pac-10 is the AFC North of college football.
The pick: Zona’s defense will at least slow Justin Blackmon and company, while OSU’s secondary is about to get picked apart by a future NFL quarterback. Arizona wins the upset, but merrily take the points.
