UCF and Georgia stand tied 3-3 at the half. Let’s be optimistic about how this has gone thus far. Aaron Murray is a freshman quarterback who hasn’t done too much to hurt his team! Jeffrey Godfrey, despite being hurt, has done a marvelous job overcoming injury for UCF and keeping his team in it. Both squads are playing spirited ball, and seem to be relishing the unique spotlight one can only find at a pre-New Year’s game in Memphis, Tennessee.

That said, let’s now look at this negatively. Both quarterbacks have thrown extremely ill-advised interceptions. Aaron Murray, the aforementioned freshman, should actually have two interceptions, but UCF declined the gift-wrapped pick he lofted into triple coverage. Both teams have frittered away long drives and ten first downs each at the half. When you do this, you end up with sad threes on the board all around, and offensive coordinators scratching their heads going into the locker rooms at the half.
