UCF takes the lead in the fourth quarter of the Liberty Bowl on a Latavius Murray TD run, leaving Georgia in danger of a loss that would drop the SEC to 0-2 for the 2010 bowl season.
Liberty Bowl, UCF Vs. UGA: Someone Finally Scores A Touchdown
UCF gouged much of its yardage out of the UGA defense out of the passing game on the touchdown drive. After struggling for much of the day and throwing two interceptions, Godfrey completed seven of eight passes in getting UCF into the redzone before Moore cashed in and trotted into the endzone.
UGA’s subsequent two drives ended with punts, and with good reason. UCF’s defensive line has been stunting relentlessly, and pressuring UGA’s line into missing critical blocks. Their coverage has also continued to shut down the UGA run game, leaving Aaron Murray with little protection.
UCF has the ball back with 5:11 left in the fourth and is clearly trying to run the clock out on what could be a Liberty Bowl victory.
