BCS Championship Game To Feature No. 1 Auburn Tigers Vs. No. 2 Oregon Ducks

It's official, gentle readers: With the release of the final regular-season 2010 BCS standings, the Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks are No. 1 and No. 2, and as such are afforded slots in the BCS title game in Glendale on January 10, 2011.

The Tigers finished the season with an unblemished 13-0 record, with wins over highly ranked opponents South Carolina, Arkansas, LSU, Alabama, and South Carolina again in Saturday's SEC Championship Game.

The Ducks will also descend on Arizona with pristine credentials, having mown down an unusually deep Pac-10 conference, including ranked opponents Stanford, USC, and Arizona.

Viewers can expect a high-octane, scoreboard-punishing contest to cap the 2010 season; both teams field offenses composed entirely of highlight reel showcase players but have struggled at times to defend against even lower-caliber opponents.
