Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl: Boston College Will Try To Stop Nevada

Want a non-BCS bowl that might actually be a really good game? Try the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.

Neither Nevada nor Boston College occupies all that rarefied air in the final BCS rankings, but the Wolf Pack own a signature win, having taken down Boise State. So Nevada will likely be the favorite in this game.

But the Eagles have two of the best linebackers in the country in Mark Herzlich and Luke Kuechly, and what they lack in consonants in their last names, they more than make up for in aggressiveness and pursuit.

It should be a lot of fun to see Nevada’s pistol attack probe the tough Eagles defense, and Boston College has been a very good bowl team for years. This game, on January 9, might be one to watch.

Bowl selections will continue to roll in all night, and we’ll be following them all right here. Stay tuned to this StoryStream through the selection show, browse our complete college football 2010 postseason schedule, and connect with Boston College fans at SB Nation’s BC Interruption.
