Penn State Vs. Temple: Nittany Lions’ Stubborn Refusal To Score Touchdowns Paying Off, Pierce Out
Penn State kicker Colin Wagner booted two more field goals in the third quarter of the Nits’ game against Temple, giving Penn State a 15-13 lead entering the fourth.
Wagner hasn’t really been booming them from long range, hitting tries of 45, 32, 42, 32, and 21 yards, but his consistency has given Penn State their first lead of the game, and one they may well keep for good.
Temple’s starting running back, Bernard Pierce, has left the game due to injury, and other than Pierce and one 51-yard run by wide receiver James Nixon, the Owls have gained just 80 yards today.
