College Football Rankings, Week 5: Villanova Strengthens No. 1 Position In FCS Top-25 Poll
For the third straight week, the top-three of The Sports Network FCS Top-25 College Football Poll remained unchanged, with Villanova, Appalachian State and James Madison -- combined winners of five of the past six national championships -- holding their positions.
The Wildcats further strengthened their grip on the No. 1 spot, earning 94 of the possible 146 first-place votes (up from 87 last week) following their 22-10 win over UPenn on Saturday.
