Boise State Rap Is Both Horribawesome And Incredibad
Sure, it’s been up other places today. But who’ll ditch the easy tone of glib internet mockery to point out the full commitment this Boise State fan had to throttling the crap out of his Boise State -themed over of Kid Rock’s “Bawitdaba?”
Who else will point you to the incredibad guitar work? The ruthless delivery of verses that rhyme Winston Venable with "winnable?" A shout out to the AD and the school president? How many team-themed raps contain the boast "We were almost number one in the preseason?" Only this one, dammit, so pay it some respect for the total effort on display here. It may be bad, but it's 110% bad, and being 110% of anything is commendable dedication in any sense of the words.
As usual, any version of “Bawitdaba” will have us wanting to scream “MY NAME IS KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID--” in the middle of random sentences all day. It’s horrible, but the effect is irresistible and contagious.
Starbucks drive-thru: “What can I get started for you, sir?”
Me: “Well, I’d like a quad latte with MY NAME IS KIIIIIIIIIIIII--”
Starbucks: “...”
Me: “--IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII---”
Starbucks: “...”
Me: “--IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID ROOOOOOOOOOCK.”
Starbucks: “So, quad latte? Will that be all?”
Me: [looking down filled with shame.] “Yeah. That’s all.”
