Jabari Gorman Commits To Florida Gators At Under Armour All-America Game

Miami, Florida safety Jabari Gorman will be taking his talents away from South Beach in 2011, verbally committing to the Florida Gators over the Miami Hurricanes and Ohio St. Buckeyes. He’s the second recruit to commit tonight, with both choosing SEC schools.

Gorman put a Gators hat on while making the announcement while his assembled family tried out a Gator chomp.

The defensive back is the nation’s No. 10 safety according to Rivals, and the No. 32 prospect int the Sunshine State. Florida’s 2011 class has taken a hit since the loss of Urban Meyer — Gorman’s commitment will boost the class from No. 17, though it’s hard to say how much. Florida’s class still has room to grow either way, with Gorman becoming only its 16th commit.

Gorman had offers from over two dozen schools from as far away as Arizona State, Iowa, and Connecticut.
