The 3-2 Virginia Cavaliers will be looking for their first win in the ACC when they host the No.12 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Scott Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

They Yellow Jackets are off to their first 6-0 start since 1966, with junior quarterback Tevin Washington leading a high-powered offense that averages 413 yards and 46.5 points per game. Washington rarely puts the ball in the air -- 73 pass attempts through six games -- but has a team-high 95 rushing attempts for 309 yards and six touchdowns. Junior running back Orwin Smith leads Georgia Tech with 464 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns, while redshirt sophomore David Sims rounds out the productive rushing trio with 432 yards and three touchdowns. Junior wide receiver Stephen Hill has been the primary target in the passing game, catching 17 passes for 552 yards (32.5 avg) and four touchdowns.

Julian Burnett (58 tackles) and Jeremiah Attaochu (four quarterback sacks) are the Yellow Jackets' defensive leaders, but Attaochu is again banged up.

After a 2-0 start, the Cavaliers lost two straight, including at home to Southern Miss, and needed overtime to get past Idaho on October 1. Sophomore quarterback Michael Rocco has struggled, completing over 63 percent of his pass attempts, but tossing seven interceptions with just two touchdowns on the season. True freshman David Watford has seen playing time in each game this season, completing 20-of-40 pass attempts for 176 yards and two touchdowns the last two outings. Junior running back Perry Jones headlines the Cavaliers' rushing attack, logging 80 carries for 365 yards on the season. Redshirt freshman Kevin Parks has added 282 yards on 50 attempts, scoring six touchdowns, one short of the school's freshman record.
