No college football fan will be surprised to be learn that the Tigers lead the game between Auburn and LSU so far. But which Tigers? Eh, the ones you probably expected to be leading, with LSU holding a 7-3 margin early in the second quarter.
Auburn Vs. LSU Score: Tigers (LSU) Take Early 7-3 Lead Against Tigers (Auburn)
Jarrett Lee is 5-of-7 for 42 yards early, while the LSU rushing game has ground out 47 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. For Auburn, Clint Moseley is a perfect 4-of-4 for 43 yards, and Cody Parkey has the 42-yard field goal to give the Tigers their only points.
And while no one expected the two Tigers to short-circuit the scoreboard, it has been something of a sleepy game. They have literally just scratched the 150-yard mark in combined total offense and are a combined 2-of-8 on third down.
