Until 2007, Navy hadn’t beaten Notre Dame in their annual rivalry game since 1963, a streak of 44 consecutive losses. Now, the tables have turned, and Navy has won three of the past four meetings between these two teams.
Notre Dame Vs. Navy Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More
Notre Dame, at 4-3, looks to again reclaim dominance in its rivalry with Navy, which is 2-5 this year.

This year, however, things look like like they’re going to revert back to the norm, as the Midshipmen are 2-5 and the Fighting Irish, though 4-3, have loads of talent (3:30 pm ET, NBC; sail here for Navy-Notre Dame score updates and here for college football stories from around the country).
With Michael Floyd at wide receiver, there's likely going to be no way the Midshipmen can slow down the Golden Domers' passing game. They have the 32nd-ranked passing offense in the country, and Tommy Rees has shown the ability to find receivers other than Floyd. Add in the two-headed monster of Cierre Wood and Jonas Gray (combined 1,088 yards, 11 TDs) in the backfield, the Irish have an offense the undersized Midshipmen will have a very tough time stopping.
Navy is already having a tough time stopping its slide. They’re 2-5, but their wins came in the first two games of the season. The nation’s third-ranked rushing offense, thanks to head coach Ken Niumatalolo’s triple-option, hasn’t been enough to make up for a defense allowing 30 points a game.
