In what could be a letdown game, the Red Raiders land soft, facing an Iowa State team that has dropped its last four games after opening the season 3-0 (7 pm ET, FSN; shoot here for Texas Tech-Iowa State score updates and here for game stories from around the country).
Iowa State comes into Saturday's game with questions at quarterback. Last weekend, Steele Jantz found his way to the bench, pulled from the game after struggling in the first quarter. Freshman Jared Barnett took over for Jantz, and it's unclear who will play the bulk of the minutes on Saturday.
All is well for Texas Tech, with Seth Doege serving as the maestro of a powerful offense. Doege has passed for 2,608 yards and 22 touchdowns on the year and was a key in the Red Raiders' win over Oklahoma.
