Missouri Vs. Texas A&M Overtime Score: Tigers Upset Aggies With Comeback Victory

The Missouri Tigers game versus the Texas A&M Aggies was guaranteed to be a close game as soon as Gus Johnson was named the broadcaster for their game on FX. The game lived up to those expectations, too, as the Tigers forced overtime to secure the upset and a 38-31 final score for the victory.

Missouri was led by quarterback James Franklin as he threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns -- including an 11-yard strike to Marcus Lucas for the game's only overtime score -- while contributing two more scores on the ground as he rushed his way to 98 yards and an additional pair of rushing touchdowns.

The Aggies were definitely the favorites in the Big 12 (possibly soon to be SEC) match-up as the Tigers went into the game with a losing record at 3-4, but Mizzou led after the first quarter. The Tigers later put together a pair of touchdown drives in the fourth quarter prior to the Aggies tying it with a field goal and forcing overtime.

Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill looked great for the most part as he completed 34 of his 51 passes for 310 yards and three touchdowns. It was an unfortunate end to the game for him, however, as he dropped the ball on what could have been a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter for the Aggies.
