LaMichael James Injury: Oregon Ducks Fans Reacting As You’d Expect

Oregon Ducks fans reacted just like pretty much else did upon seeing star running back LaMichael James leave after suffering a ghastly elbow injury. James himself was upbeat after the game, saying he popped his dislocated elbow back in, and promised he'll be back on the field this season.

But how are Oregon fans coping? Let’s check in with Oregon blog Addicted To Quack’s postgame thread:

Thank God Fatty is ok!

My daughter was crying when he got hurt. She was scared for him...

"Dad, is Mr. James gonna be ok?"

"Yes, honey - LaMike will be fine. You don't have to cry."

"But I love him so much, daddy..."

Also, Oregon fans call James “Fatty.”

Of course, there’s plenty of concern and calls for no further mentions of juju, bad or otherwise. However, even in Oregon’s darkest hour of the year, there’s still a call for perspective. “Perspective” in Eugene means “deriving joy from the lessening, no matter how slight, of Washington football.”

Guys. You're forgetting the one good thing from tonight.

LaMichael is now 5th all time in Pac-12 rushing...IN FRONT OF ALL WASHINGTON RB'S.

HE IS THE GREATEST. HE WILL BE BACK.
