Saturday’s Penn State-Nebraska showdown, a game the Huskers won 17-14, was, of course, the focus of much emotion and interest from both fans and media members alike. Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, though, thinks it shouldn’t have even been played.

I will be honest with you going into the game, I didn’t think the game should have been played, for a lot of different reasons.Pelini’s comments and sentiments aren’t much different from those of a protester who was greeted rudely by Penn State fans on Saturday, but he has a bit more power than the protester does. And, hopefully, his comments will be received with a bit less animosity.
