As if the odds weren't long enough for Ole Miss upsetting No. 1 LSU on Saturday, now comes word that the Rebels' starting quarterback and leading rusher have been suspended for the game. Randall Mackey and Jeff Scott, as well as backup running back Korvic Neat, were apparently suspended for breaking team rules and will be unavailable.

The Rebels are currently on a five-game losing streak and are off to an 0-6 start in the SEC. They entered this game as 29-point underdogs, a figure that will surely grow with this news.

Most likely, Mackey will be replaced under center by Zack Stoudt, who actually played enough in last week’s loss to Louisiana Tech make 19 pass attempts. But he has been largely disappointing this season, completing just 49.1 percent of his passes and throwing just two touchdowns to seven interceptions.

Scott's carries will likely be given to Brandon Bolden, who has registered at least 13 carries in each of the past four games. Bolden actually looked particularly strong against Auburn, accumulating 114 yards on 13 carries and scoring a pair of touchdowns. Last year, he rushed for 976 yards and scored 17 touchdowns.
