USC Trojans coach Lane Kiffin has put in doubt whether star wide receiver Robert Woods will play against the Oregon Ducks due an ankle injury. If he'd like a little confidence in whether Woods will play, he could just dial up his opponent. Chip Kelly sounds like he's ensuring his team is fully prepared to play against Woods:
Robert Woods’ Injury Won’t Keep Him Away From Oregon Game, Says Chip Kelly
Regarding reports that USC receiver Robert Woods didn’t practice today and is questionable for Saturday’s game due to injury, Kelly seemed dubious.
“He’s playing, I can tell you that right now,” Kelly said. “I love that kid, he’s a competitor. He’s playing.”
Woods has 1,147 yards on the year despite registering only five against the Washington Huskies. He put up 59 yards on the Ducks in USC's 2010 loss.
