The Oregon Ducks host the USC Trojans in this weekend's biggest contest, and Oregon has invited plenty of top-flight talent to take in the game.
Recruiting Visits, Week 12: Oregon, Notre Dame Hosting Top Talent
Oregon, Notre Dame, Georgia, Auburn, and Oregon State can make gains for 2012 with lots of talent on campus this weekend.
It all starts with Arik Armstead of Pleasant Grove High in Elk Grove, CA. Some have called this offensive/defensive lineman the best prospect in the country. Others regard him as merely one of the better prospects in America. Still, everyone agrees Armstead is a great prospect. At 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, Armstead wants to play defensive line, but his greatest future earning potential is at offensive tackle. His athleticism is quite impressive for a big man.
Armstead holds offers from just about every program in the country and Oregon will be rolling out the red carpet.
Defensive end Faith Ekakitie is also making the trip to Eugene. The four-star from Lake Forest Academy in Illinois stands 6-foot-2 and weighs in at 255 pounds. He’d be a great fit in Oregon’s multi-front defense. While he lacks ideal height, Ekakitie is stout against the run and has a solid motor.
The Ducks also welcome receiver Dwayne Stanford II of Taft High in Cincinnati. Stanford is widely considered one of the top 20 receivers in the country. Stanford II is also considering Alabama and Ohio State. He’s not a burner, but at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, he does catch the ball well and knows how to use his body. Stanford has to like all the single coverage Oregon’s option scheme creates on the outside.
Four-star cornerback Kevon Seymour of Muir High School in Pasadena, California will also be along for the trip. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound speedster is a prototypical Oregon recruit, and should immediately factor into the road game wherever he signs. He could play offense as well, and if he signs with Oregon, Chip Kelly could also be tempted to use him on the offensive side of the ball.

Notre Dame will host Boston College this weekend, and has invited some fine prospects to take in the action.
Taylor McNamara is a talented tight end out of Westview High in San Diego, CA. One of the top tight ends in the country, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound McNamara is committed to Arizona. Will the promising pass catcher and blocker like the cold weather in South Bend? Perhaps not, but Notre Dame certainly has a lot of tradition to offer.
Also on the visit list is Amara Darboh, a consensus four-star receiver from Dowling High in West Des Moines, IA.
Dorbah is rated as a three or four star by most major services. He doesn’t gave great speed, but isn’t slow, and does have good body control. He also holds offers from Florida, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Georgia hosts the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend and welcomes in two top-flight prospects.
Tight end Blake Jackson of Scottsdale, Community College (Arizona) comes to Athens. Georgia has been a tight end factory of late, and with Mark Richt's job seeming more secure lately, Georgia is definitely in the running. At 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, Jackson will remind many Dawg fans or Orson Charles. He's super quick and great after the catch.
UGA will also look to pull another talented lineman out of Florida in Avery Young from Palm Beach Gardens High (FL). At 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds with room for more, Young holds offers from most of the top programs in the country. Florida is also in strong contention here.

The Auburn Tigers welcome in linebacker Noor Davis as they face Samford. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound backer from Leesburg high in Leesburg, Florida has excellent length and excels at rushing the passer off the edge. He is considered one of the top outside linebackers in the country. Davis is originally from California, and is a soft verbal commitment to Stanford. He is also considering Alabama, Florida and Notre Dame.

The Oregon State Beavers welcome in the Washington Huskies, and Darius Powe will be looking to see whether the Beavers can pull the upset. At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Powe has the length teams are looking for, but also the speed. Power is also considering Utah and UCLA. Oregon State definitely has a chance to land the star from Lakewood, CA.
