Miami (OH) Vs. Ohio: Bobcats Hold Off RedHawks, 21-14

In an atypical MAC-tion game, only 35 total points were scored between the Miami Redhawks and the Ohio Bobcats. Miami struck first on a 2-yard touchdown run by quarterback Zac Dysert to take a 7-0 lead late in the first quarter. After that score however, it was all Bobcats. Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton answered back in the second quarter with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Thompson, tying the game up 7-7 headed into halftime.

The Bobcats came out in the second half and put up 14 points in the third quarter to take a 21-7 lead, which would prove to be enough for the win. Tettleton tossed two more touchdowns, one to Donte Foster and the other to Riley Dunlop. On the night, Tettleton passed for 203 yards and added another 111 yards with his legs rushing.

Redhawks quarterback Zac Dysert added a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to push Miami within a touchdown, but they just couldn’t get the ball into the endzone again. Ohio comes out on top 21-14, improving to 6-2 in the MAC and holding onto first place in the East division.
