Robinson leads the Wolverines in both passing and rushing through three quarters on Saturday afternoon. The Michigan quarterback has completed 11 of his 13 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns while contributing 124 yards and two more scores on the ground, but his team trails 31-30 early in the fourth quarter.

Getty ImagesIt’s known as “The Big Game,” but for the past seven years, the historic Ohio State-Michigan rivalry hasn’t had much drama. The Buckeyes have gone 7-0 since 2003, but this year is a whole new ballgame. It’s the first time in that span that Ohio State hasn’t been coached by Jim Tressel, and it’s the first time since the beginning of the streak they’ll win eight games or less. Amidst scandal, they will accept a bowl invitation if one is given to them, but, at 6-5, it’s not going to be the caliber of bowl they’ve grown accustomed to in Columbus.
Michigan is also ushering in a new era, although it’s already inarguably a more positive one. With new coach Brady Hoke, the Wolverines are on the verge of their first 10-win season since Lloyd Carr’s tenure. This is the best chance they’ve had to beat the Buckeyes — at home, against a depleted Ohio State team — since 2005 when the teams entered the game ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the country.
