The actual South Division winner is ineligible to participate. The runner-up is 6-6, coming off a 50-0 loss to the actual winner. Oh, and then the runner-up fires its coach.To their credit, Oregon is not taking UCLA lightly, getting an early jump on practice during the short week.
"I think we’re relishing the chance to play in this game. And it’s always easier when you’ve reached the end of the tunnel, to see the light and push toward it, " guard Carson York told the Register-Guard columnist.
