The fourth-ranked Stanford Cardinal will attempt to extend their winning streak to 17 games when they visit Corvallis, Oregon to face the Oregon St. Beavers.

Stanford needed triple overtime to get past USC in Los Angeles last week, with linebacker A.J. Tarpley forcing a fumble to preserve the win. Quarterback Andrew Luck completed 29-of-40 passes for 330 yards and three touchdown passes, and a critical two-point conversion, against the Trojans, padding his already impressive Heisman Trophy resume. For the season, the future No. 1 overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft has completed 71.9 percent of his 242 pass attempts for 2,218 yards with 23 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

Luck faces an Oregon State team that fell to 2-6 on the season, and 2-3 in the Pac-12, after a 27-8 to the Utah Utes last week. Mike Riley's Beavers have the nation's 22nd ranked passing offense, with Sean Mannion completing over 64 percent of 323 pass attempts for 2,195 yards and 10 touchdowns. A defense that is allowing nearly 30 points per game means Oregon State has to throw the ball to keep pace, leading to the offense throwing 14 interceptions (13 by Mannion). One bright spot on the Beavers defense has been redshirt freshman defensive end Scott Crichton, who has 45 tackles, including 10 for a loss and four quarterback sacks, both of which are team-highs.
