Texas’ running game is rolling against Texas Tech. And the Red Raiders’ typically effective passing game has been unable to put points on the board in Austin, which means the Longhorns’ halftime lead on Texas Tech is large.

It's 31-6 after two quarters, and that score doesn't fully convey Texas' dominance. The 235 rushing yards on just 23 carries might help do that; the four Texas runners given carries in the first half are averaging nine or more yards per carry, and each has broken a run of more than 10 yards. And Joe Bergeron has 113 yards and a touchdown to lead the 'Horns. (That makes up for a passing game that has thrown the ball just four times.)
Meanwhile, Texas Tech has yardage, but few points. Seth Doege has thrown for 219 yards, but no touchdowns, and two drives of more than 60 yards have culminated in just field goals for the Red Raiders.
