Minnesota Vs. Michigan State Halftime Score: Late Touchdown Gives Spartans Edge, 21-17

We may never know how Minnesota got its groove back. Somehow a team that looked downright terrible through its first seven games of the season has found a pulse, entering halftime against a highly-favored Michigan State squad down just four points.

Marqueis Gray has done it all for the Gophers through two quarters. The dual-threat quarterback already has 163 passing yards and two touchdown passes, as well as 34 yards rushing on 11 carries. Da'Jon McKnight was on the other end of both touchdowns, catching five passes for 121 yards for the half.

Of course, there is a reason why the Spartans are 6-2 and vying for a spot in the B1G's inaugural championship game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins has been solid as usual, finding six different receivers for 223 yards and two touchdowns. A normally stout running game hasn't found much traction against the Gophers, however, with just 58 total yards against what should be an overmatched defensive front.

This game is still very much in doubt. MSU didn't even take its first lead in the game until four seconds left in the half on a Cousins pass to Todd Anderson. Be sure to stay tuned to our Week 10 StoryStream for more updates on this game, and every game from around the country.
