LSU Vs. Alabama Score Updates: Tide, Tigers Cover Ground But Miss Scoreboard

The Alabama Crimson Tide got the ball first to begin the game of the [insert time period], but couldn't make anything of it despite some tough runs by Trent Richardson. The LSU Tigers allowed 43 yards before forcing a Cade Foster field goal, which missed to the right by about an elephant and a half.

For live Alabama-LSU score updates and conversation, head right here.

Jarrett Lee brought the Tigers to a third-and-inches near midfield, at which point Jordan Jefferson took the reins. With red-and-white pom poms whirling, Jefferson powered for the first down. The fortissimo Tuscaloosa crowd caused Lee to burn a time out, and Bama faithful claimed their first victory of the night.

A Don'ta Hightower blitz forced an overthrow, and I'll be danged if these defenses made it through two drives without giving up a point. Can you believe it?
