Oklahoma State is in line to take the No. 2 spot in the BCS rankings after this Saturday’s massive LSU-Alabama clash. One problem, though: Kansas State isn’t exactly interested in allowing that to happen, and held a 24-14 lead on the Cowboys in the first half.
Oklahoma State Vs. Kansas State Score Update: Wildcats Looking For Upset
The Wildcats got that lead by doing what they do: making fewer mistakes than the other team and running the football. Kansas State has taken one of Oklahoma State’s three turnovers to the house for six points, on Allen Chapman’s interception return, and the Wildcats have 106 rushing yards on the somewhat porous Oklahoma State defense.
Brandon Weeden has led the Cowboys back, though, leading a field goal drive and throwing for another touchdown after a K-State turnover gave Oklahoma State the ball at the Wildcats 5. It’s 24-24 in Stillwater, with time left in the second quarter. Prepare for a barn-burner, folks.
