Mississippi St. Bulldogs quarterback Dylan Favre, nephew of the Brett Favre, is indeed transferring, coach Dan Mullen confirmed Saturday. The MSU backup hadn't been practicing amid ongoing rumors he'd seek opportunity elsewhere.

“Dylan’s decided to transfer, and we wish him the best,” MSU coach Dan Mullen said after today’s practice. “He has our full support with everything. He did a great job for us during his time here.”
Favre played in nine games this year, completing half of his 26 attempts and running in a pair of scores. He voiced frustration via Twitter with his playing time after the team's loss to the LSU Tigers. His most extensive effort came against the Arkansas Razorbacks, when he threw 16 times and scored an aerial touchdown.
