Arkansas Football Recruiting: National Signing Day Commitments, Needs And Targets
For all its success on the field over the past two years, Arkansas really should be recruiting better. The Razorbacks have 21 commitments, and just five of them are consensus blue-chip recruits (rated as four-stars or better). If Arkansas hopes to beat SEC West behemoths Alabama and LSU, and stay ahead of Auburn, it will need to bring in better players with greater frequency.
Arkansas is bringing in five defensive ends, but none of them stand out as being elite recruits. They are good, but again, if Arkansas wants to win the SEC West, it needs elite recruits, not simply good ones. The best of the bunch is probably Austin Flynn, a JUCO defensive end out of California.

This is a major loss for Tennessee, as the Volunteers recently lost another major linebacker prospect in Dalton Santos to the Texas Longhorns. Previous to that, Tennessee had thought it would not have enough room to take another linebacker, and encouraged Khalid Henderson to look around. Now all three linebacker recruits are gone.
