Louisville is hosting a huge crop of talented South Florida recruits this weekend, per SB Nation’s Mark Ennis of Big East Coast Bias:
Louisville Recruiting: Nick Dawson, Herb Waters Among Visitors
Louisville has a chance to sign some top prospects from South Florida.

Ennis believes Dawson would start from day one for the Cards. I can’t disagree, as Dawson is really a special athlete. Dawson already has college size, at 6’3” and 228 pounds. Most services regard Dawson as a four-star recruit and one of the best 10 inside linebackers in the country.
Nick Dawson is obviously talented, as is Keith Brown, a former Miami and Illinois commitment who is currently uncommitted. The Miami linebacker is a big hitter who needs to play with greater consistency. He would be an excellent addition to the Cardinals. Brown will play in the 5A state-title game today before hopping the plane to Louisville.
Herb Waters is currently a commitment to the Miami Hurricanes, but his actions are not those of a prospect who is solidly committed. Waters plays many positions for Homestead (Fl.) High, but projects as a receiver or a defensive back in college.
