When Oklahoma State Gets Snubbed, Blame These Guys

Based on what we've seen so far in the Sagarin Rankings and Coaches Poll, all signs are pointing towards the Alabama Crimson Tide playing for the national title over the Oklahoma St. Cowboys.

The last bastions of hope may end up being the Harris Poll. If Alabama beats LSU in an ugly title game while Oklahoma State blows out their opponent, the Harris might be able to step in and deliver a Co-National Title karate chop to the BCS’ sternum.

It’s a good thing the AP doesn’t play a role, though.

That theory, however, relies on the ability for AP voter to realize that Oklahoma State is, at the very least, the third-best team in the nation right now. Even that might be too much ask.

Bill Cole (Winston-Salem Journal) and Jeremy Sampson (WLIX East Lansing) both voted Stanford 3rd, Oklahoma St 4th. Only ones to put OSU 4th.
