Rising sophomore Florida linebacker Neiron Ball has been released from Shands Hospital, where he underwent treatment for what the school is referring to as a “congenital vascular condition.”
Florida LB Neiron Ball Expected To Miss 2011 Season
After four days in the hospital, Bell recovered but did not participate in spring practice or the Gators. His brother-in-law has now told the Orlando Sentinel that its likely Ball will miss the upcoming 2011 football season as well as he continues to recover.
Ball played in all 13 games as a freshman for Florida, recording 10 tackles. He was expected to compete for playing time at linebacker as a sophomore.
