2011 Nike Pro Combat Uniforms To Be Worn By LSU, Oregon, Others

Nike announced on Wednesday that for at least one game in during the upcoming football season, nine college football programs will be outfitted with their 2011 Nike Pro Combat uniform system, which was debuted by the University of Oregon in the 2010 BCS National Championship Game.

Oregon will be one of the nine schools, as will Pac-12 rival Stanford. Army, Boise State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Navy and Ohio State will also wear the uniform system, which will also feature uniquely designed uniforms that incorporate elements of each school’s history.

On September 3, Oregon will wear the uniforms against LSU in their meeting at Cowboys Stadium, and Boise State and Georgia will wear the uniforms in their game at the Georgia Dome. Michigan State will wear the uniform in their annual meeting with Michigan on October 15, LSU will wear the uniforms against Auburn on October 22, and Ohio State will wear them against Wisconsin on October 29.

Stanford will wear their version on November 27 against Notre Dame, while Army and Navy will both be donning the uniforms at FedEx Field on December 10.
