Marshall Thundering Herd wide receiver Troy Evans was arrested Tuesday night for a string of armed robberies from earlier in the week, WSAZ in Huntington, West Virginia reported. Evans was hit with four counts of armed robbery and one count of wanton endangerment, and, yes, he's been suspended indefinitely from the football team.

Marshall receiver Troy Evans has been arrested and charged with robbing four people at gunpoint Sunday morning.
WSAZ has been tracking the story for several days now, since four people were allegedly robbed at gunpoint on 6th Avenue in Huntington. And not all at once, either. Evans allegedly conducted three distinct stickups in a 10-minute span. The Herald-Dispatch adds that Evans was booked into Western Regional jail on a $250,000 bond.
As the Ironton Tribune notes, Marshall’s had trouble keeping its players on the right side of the law this offseason.
Evans is a Juco transfer, a senior who had 79 touches last year running, receiving and returning the ball. His best game came against the Memphis Tigers, when he produced 109 yards of offense and a pair of scores.
