ESPN GameDay Announces First Three 2011 Campus Destinations

The show will kick off Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. ET on ESPNU, moving to ESPN proper at 10.

College football virtual roadtrippers, your first three dates for the 2011 season are set: ESPN has announced the opening swing across America for the show they apparently still insist on calling “ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot.” But it’s GameDay, so we won’t sass. Much.

The GameDay dates (GameDaytes?) announced so far: Week 1 will open the season in Arlington as LSU and Oregon face off in the JerryDome; Week 2 promises a thoroughly decorous trip to Ann Arbor for Michigan-Notre Dame, and Week 3 drops in on Tallahassee for Florida State vs. Oklahoma.

Once again, for West Coasters or those who like to sleep in, you won’t get a chance if you want to lock eyeballs with every too-clever signholder: The show will kick off Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. ET on ESPNU, moving to ESPN proper at 10. Chris, Lee, Kirk, and Desmond will be joined by Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi, and in an especially shiny twist for the show’s 25th season, the Worldwide Leader will bring David Pollack on board to up the hair game.
