The Florida St. Seminoles face their first big test of the season on Sept. 17 with a home game against the Oklahoma Sooners, but this week they will deal with the Charleston Southern Buccaneers. This will be the first matchup between the two schools and there's no reason to think the Seminoles will not have a romp in this game. The Buccaneers lost to the Central Florida Knights last week, 62-0.
CSU Vs. Florida State Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More
The Florida St. Seminoles continue their early season schedule with a game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, which should be an easy victory.
The Seminoles had an easy time with the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, cruising to a 34-0 victory. There were some concerns over how the Seminoles’ offensive line looked during the game, but the Warhawks were using defensive schemes designed to prevent the run. The Seminoles used six players to gain 92 yards on 28 carries.
Quarterback E.J. Manuel did do well by completing 22-of-34 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. With one game under his belt, Manuel and his running backs should have a field day against the Buccaneers. But will these cupcake teams be enough to get the Seminoles ready for the Sooners, whom 'Noles fans are already looking at?
