After two weeks of picking and scratching for games of national interest, college football fans finally arrive at Week 3. Two games of universal interest on Saturday night, a huge conference Thursday nighter, and plenty going on in between. Kinda feels like the season starts this week.
College Football TV Schedule, Week 3: Hey Look, Actual Big Games
The season’s first on-campus, top-five matchup -- between No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 5 FSU -- makes it feel like college football is here here now. Scroll down for the complete TV schedule, or just print it out right here.
While we'll all be watching the No. 17 Ohio St. Buckeyes play the Miami Hurricanes out of sheer morbid curiosity, the prime time game between the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners and No. 5 Florida St. Seminoles could be a national championship disqualification match.
Elsewhere, the No. 3 LSU Tigers are sure to make it two straight heart-stopping weeks for the No. 25 Mississippi St. Bulldogs, the No. 21 Auburn Tigers and Clemson Tigers (tigers!) kick off Saturday festivities, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and No. 24 Texas Longhorns seek vengeance against the No. 15 Michigan St. Spartans and UCLA Bruins, respectively (respective vengeance!), an actual big-time rivalry game -- between the Tennessee Volunteers and No. 16 Florida Gators -- and so on.
