Finally, Penn State is up on Temple. It only took until the 57th minute of the game, too.
Penn State Vs. Temple Score: Nittany Lions Take First Lead Of Day
After a gutsy fourth down conversion by the Nittany Lions from the Temple 3, Michael Zordich punched in the second Penn State touchdown of the day to stake Joe Paterno’s team to a 14-10 lead after the extra point. It’s the first lead of the game, and sets Penn State up for a victory resembling its comeback win over Temple in 2010, when the Nittany Lions trailed until late in the third quarter but eventually prevailed.
The Owls haven’t beaten Penn State since 1941. If they’re going to do it on this Saturday, it’ll take a last-minute drive.
